ICT Field Account Manager: Education Sector London. Basic to £50k + Comm (33%) + Car

Our Client is the UK's leading supplier of ICT to educational institutions from primary schools to colleges and universities. They design and implement innovative software and hardware solutions while also providing ongoing system support. They are looking for an experienced Field Account Manager.
You would be expected to perform sales activity within a defined geographic area. Working closely with your Internal Account Manager to exploit sales opportunities you would be expected to hit an Order target, Value added target as well as a strategic product sales target.
The role provides a customer facing presence in the field, promoting the company, delivering customer care and developing strategic relationships.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
• To achieve Order Intake and OVA targets for each product group
• Promoting and selling the clients entire portfolio of products, solutions and services
• Selling solutions into existing Accounts and Business Development
• Working with Internal Account Manager and the Territory Account Manager to develop and implement a sales plan for the patch
• Utilising resources from across the business to sales activity as appropriate, including Infrastructure Specialists, Educational Specialists, Marketing, product divisions, Services and Support
• Working with the Territory Business Manager and Bid Team as required to deliver large bids
• Sharing key information with the Territory team and wider sales team to enable peers and team to be successful
• To staff conferences, seminars and exhibitions as required
• Developing and maintaining excellent product and territory knowledge, as well as a good understanding of the education market in order to build credibility with our customers
• Matching solutions to needs and in order to exploit all sales opportunities as they arise
• Delivering accurate sales forecast to the Territory Sales Manager, on a monthly basis, maintaining a 3-month pipeline of opportunities to support the delivery of sales targets
• Providing forecast s throughout the month to the Territory Sales Manager
• Create, and maintain customer contact records using internal software
• Providing account management to all customers within the patch, ensuring customer care is delivered and customers are retained in a sustainable manner.
