Our Client is the UK's leading supplier of ICT to educational institutions from primary schools to colleges and universities. They design and implement innovative software and hardware solutions while also providing ongoing system support.

 

Reporting to the Head of Sales the role carries responsibility for the management of a defined sales territory, to ensure that order intake and margin targets are achieved with the target level of customer satisfaction and within operational business plan parameters for product mix, customer discounts and expenditure. In addition you will need to be an effective and inspirational manager, ensuring a high level of motivation of your team members.

 

The TSM will be responsible for Senior Management engagement within Local Authorities and Key Accounts on their territory, directing the sales and contact strategy, managing appropriate resource deployment and leading any Building Schools for the Future (BSF) New Project Approval Process (NPAP).

 

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver the agreed sales revenue & margin targets
•Management of a team of 4-6 field sales people
•Input to sales strategy for account management, account development and business development
•Lead Key Account Management
•Monthly joint visits and development coaching
•Organisation and delivery of sales training
•Customer Senior Management Team engagement
•BSF NPAP negotiation
•Meet with and influence senior individuals from various customer, partner, Quango and other stakeholder groups. Build a sound awareness of the educational ICT market and distinct customer needs
•Support Head of Sales and Sales Director with Strategic Sales Projects
