Our Client is a design led UK furniture manufacturer who provides all aspects of supply from individual items to complete turnkey solutions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Secondary Sales Consultant to grow the client business alongside it’s parent company’s Sales Team, a company that is experiencing exponential growth. You will be working with architects, contractors, schools, colleges, and commercial clients.
The business attributes its success to a strong company culture and genuinely passionate staff, who are highly focused on delivering and designing brand new innovative products, on time delivery and customer care. You will play a significant part in supporting the growth plans within the secondary sector as the business doubles it revenues over the next twelve months.
Job Description
You will be part of the sales team based from the office near Thame in Oxfordshire and the role will require some UK travel as it will be a combined field based role as well as internal. The successful candidate will be a self starter, with strong relationship building skills and the drive to succeed within the secondary market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a large group of existing key accounts, building relationships enabling you to maximise sales from your customer base.
- Work to develop new business opportunities with customers and new accounts.
- Work closely with internal sales, sales and sales support, to develop the right solution for the customer, achieving sales targets and ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work as part of a small team to develop the sales strategy for the territory.
- Manage the sales forecasting process for the area.
The Individual
- You’ll demonstrate a solid background in solution sales coupled with a proven track record of delivering strong account growth and exceptional service to customers.
- Self-motivated, with high levels of energy & drive and strong planning and organisational skills.
- Personal gravitas and strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to influence at all levels.
- Customer focused.
- Mental agility required to deliver in a complex environment.
- Previous experience of selling into the public sector / education would be beneficial.
- A driving licence is essential, as is the flexibility for UK travel.
- The job holder will need to anticipate spending 4 days a week on the road although overnight stays should be minimum.

Salary £30k + Commission (33%) + car + benefits.
