Our Client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of the finest industrial tooling, their success is founded on providing precision, quality and service including calibrations and repairs to a prestigious customer base, ranging from Defence and Aerospace, to Automotive, Electronics and other associated industries.
An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.
The Internal Sales Engineer is primarily responsible for providing professional and competent support and service, to existing and prospective customers. The Internal Sales Engineer is expected to build positive relationships both internally and externally and be responsible for the efficient, effective handling of the entire quotation and technical support process, so they meet customer expectations and are in accordance with the Company procedures.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
• Providing professional & competent Service
• Efficient & effective handling of the entire Quotation & Technical Support
process
• Proactive promotion of the company product portfolio
• Working with the sales team to maintain and develop existing customers
and win new business
Profile:
• Previous experience in an Internal Sales Engineer role.
• Experience of selling Industrial Tooling products such as the Cooper range of tooling (or similar).
• Appetite and desire to win business
• Strong ability to build, develop and maintain Customer Relationships
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Outlook, Word & Excel
• Desire to optimise the use of technology to increase the success of the
company
• Outstanding communication & organisational skills
•Able to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations
Salary From £16000 depending on age and experience + Commission
