Our Client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of the finest industrial tooling, their success is founded on providing precision, quality and service including calibrations and repairs to a prestigious customer base, ranging from Defence and Aerospace, to Automotive, Electronics and other associated industries.
An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a driven and ambitious professional with a track record of selling industrial tooling - to develop their career with a leading name.
As Technical Sales Manager you will be tasked with generating new business from both existing and new customers, covering the UK. This role will involve selling primarily into the high-end industrial marketplace.
The role provides real opportunity to proceed in management.
Your main duties will include:
- Liaising with the customer's engineers and sales team to identify potential opportunities
- Following up potential business and managing customers throughout the contract process
- Maintaining existing contracts
- Identifying new markets
To be considered for this position you must have experience of selling Industrial Tooling products such as the Cooper range of tooling (or similar). Ideally you will also have a technical engineering qualification, such as an HNC or degree (or equivalent).
You should also be confident when dealing with engineering and procurement issues, and a good communicator and negotiator. The determination to succeed is also essential.
A sound working Knowledge of Computer Entry is also essential.
Salary from £21,000+ Commission (uncapped)
