We are seeking to recruit a pro-active Areas Sales Manager who can provide and ensure comprehensive customer service and business development to the whole of the London Sales Team and Regional Manager.
The successful candidate will have a proven sales record and have the ability to make a real
contribution from the word go. Applicants will have a natural flair for communication, a team oriented approach, a methodical approach to tasks,
excellent professionalism and require minimum supervision. You will regard your role as crucial to the
Company`s business needs and be able to demonstrate this with excellent customer service abilities and sound decision making.
A confident and enthusiastic manner is also desirable. Experience of sales in the furniture fittings and/or architectural ironmongery industry would be advantageous, as would a background in joinery, shop fitting or the kitchen industry. In addition the appointed candidate will have the ability to take the corporate brand and customer interests into consideration.
Main Functions / Aims:
To offer a first class customer service.
To promote products and policy to all customers and potential customers within a designated area,
usually determined by post-code.
To forecast turnover levels within a designated area and to strive to achieve those turnover figures through increased customer sales and continued customer support.
To seek out new customers for existing products or to identify potential customers where new or
modified products may be relevant.
To report relevant information to the Regional Sales Manager, to ensure that Company policy or products are tailored to suit changes or trends within the relevant market.
