Quality Engineer / Manager (PCB’s) Hertfordshire £25-30k

Our Client based in Hertfordshire is a PCB Manufacturer (bare board) providing high quality products in a demanding industry. They are looking for a Quality Engineer / Manager.
This is a senior role within a small company and you will report to the Directors. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the quality system and undertake quality audits.
The ability to make the right quality and commercial related decisions is vital and also be able to demonstrate good communication skills in addressing Customer/Supplier related issues. This is very much a ‘hands on’ role and you will therefore have a background directly or indirectly related to PCBs and be conversant with aspects of manufacture or assembly processes. You must be prepared to undertake extensive shop floor activities to gain the knowledge required to be successful in this role. This is a demanding role and you will need to demonstrate that you can work under pressure and show initiative and have the ability to learn quickly.
You will also have to fully conversant to BS EN ISO9001-2008 and IPC 600
