Hotel Reservations Consultant Berkshire Full time/ Part time circa £14,500 (pro rata)

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Pay Monthly 2 Recruit who are operating as an employment agency.

Our Client set in the heart of the Berkshire countryside is one of the world’s finest luxury hotels. They are looking for a reservations consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small team which strives to achieve a superior level of customer satisfaction at all times. The successful candidate will deal with bookings for house guest accommodation, dining and boating and will be polite, helpful and efficient whilst working under pressure. The successful applicant must have previous experience using Fidelio Hotel Software.

Overview of role.

·        The handling of all enquiries for accommodation for up to 5 rooms within one reservation.

·        To carry out audits of forward reservations to ensure that all reservations are accurate and confirmed.

·        Work within a shift rota system.

·        Ensure that all reservation details are maintained accurately both in the computerised system and on all documentation relating to each reservation.

·        Maximisation of all sales opportunities when handling each reservation.

·        Close liaison with all departments.

·        Close liaison with the reservations departments of other Group properties and to encourage the referral of business whenever possible.

The role is based on a 40 hour working week, though part time work may also be considered where appropriate. Salary  dependent upon suitability for the role and relevant qualifications and / or experience in the industry.
