Our client is an international media service group with more than three decades of experience, dedicated to establishing relevant points of contact between brands and consumers in order to obtain optimal business results. They are looking for an experienced Media New Business Manager
Role
To own and drive a new business calling programme for my client. You will be targeting media decision makers from an international, digital and above the line perspective with three separate new business objectives.
Specific overall objectives of this role:
· Deliver a minimum of one new business meetings per business unit per month
· Maintain all new business mailing databases through a calling programme which is coordinated and measured
· Gather information and intelligence about our key primary and secondary targets across each business unit so that we can use this in the calling / mailing programmes
· Work closely with the Marketing Director to create POV for each new business prospect using the business units work and experience to make connections
· Report all activity to the team
There will be two main areas of the calling programme
Tactical
· Against an agreed prospect definition (spend / sector etc), you will identify reviewing business through your intelligence sources and vigilance to reviews, published in the trade press
· Monitor company ‘change’ that may be a catalyst to a review. This includes new Marketing / Management appointments, mergers & acquisitions, financial results, launching / re-launching of products / services
Strategic
· Against an agreed prospect profile, you will use a database of contacts, derived from data sources for each of the business units for your calling programme
· Devise a personalised campaign of dialogue relating to the specific needs / issues of each defined prospect.
· To be a key member of a small, highly motivated and driven leadership team that will transform the reputation of my client in the UK market and establish it as one of the UK’s leading media planning and buying agencies.
