Our Client is one of the largest independent manufacturers of corrugated cases in Southern England. Established in 1985 they started manufacturing in 1989 to service local customers. They have retained this strategy throughout and now turnover 6 million within a 100 mile radius. They have built a reputation on offering an exceptional service level which their competitors find hard to compete with. They pride themselves on giving all their customers the ultimate solution to allow them to focus on their own business demands. They have grown the packaging materials supply on the back of their corrugated service and ensure their customers can enjoy a true one stop supply. They are currently undergoing a huge investment drive with new state of the art machinery being installed to improve efficiencies at their site at Uckfield East Sussex and have completed development of a brand new distribution centre nearby to accommodate their range of stock packaging and large blue chip contracts. They are a very pro-active business that reacts to the marketplace quickly and efficiently and has a team of people with an outstanding ethos for customer focus that are a credit to Challenge Packaging.  
 
The Position
 
You will initially be working alongside an established business development manager covering London South Territory, eventually taking over the role and placing your own personality with current and new customers.
 
You will be responsible for looking after established clients and encouraging growth from existing as well as new prospects. Using the skills you have as an exceptional individual as well as obtaining superb support from all departments you will need to have the motivation and flair to recognise opportunities and run with it to gain business within your territory. You would be expected you to plan and manage your weekly appointments to ensure you see as many existing and new prospects as possible and working closely with your internal Sales Co-ordinator win business in all areas you are responsible for. You are not restricted to any industry in your prospecting.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
·         Ensure that the Key Accounts are regularly contacted and aware of all of the services and products that are available to them.
·         Have the ability following training to provide bespoke solutions to satisfy client demands.
·         To recognise opportunities and win business using good business practise and selling skills.
·         Must be highly motivated and want to do well for themselves as Well as the business.
·         Must be a good communicator and able to react to warehouse or board room negotiations at all times.
·         The ability to do business at goods in level as Well as the board room. Our Client services a wide range of industries and can accommodate the demands placed upon them if commercially viable and good for the business.
·         Must take ownership of job and be aware of all threats, strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and obtain feedback to discuss with Sales Director regularly to ensure targets are being achieved and individual success is recognised and rewarded.
